How to sell your motorhome near you in three simple steps
Sell your motorhome near Bicester: the motorhomes we buy
Selling a motorhome privately means insuring it while it sits, taxing it to move it, and handling viewings from people who want a test drive before they commit. Selling to us removes all three. We buy right across Bicester and Oxfordshire, and arrange free local collection at a time that suits you.
Beyond these categories we also look at campervans, conversions and anything built on a van base.
A motorhome that will not start is still one we will quote on. Moving it is our problem to solve, not yours.
Free motorhome valuation in Bicester: what affects your price
A motorhome is valued on different things to a caravan, and mechanical condition carries real weight. These are the five we work from:
If the figure changes once we see it, you hear why, and you are free to decline.
Age & mileage
Mileage matters less than a steady service record. A motorhome that has stood unused often fares worse than one that has been used.
Layout & berths
Fixed bed and washroom layouts hold value more firmly than older dinette conversions.
Mechanical condition
Whether it starts, how it drives, and what the last MOT said. A non-runner is priced, not refused.
Habitation condition
Damp, seals and the state of the living area carry as much weight as the engine.
Finance outstanding
Any settlement figure is set against the price openly, before anything is agreed.
Why people near Bicester choose to sell a motorhome
The reasons people give for selling a motorhome tend to be practical rather than sentimental:
Outstanding finance
The agreement still has time to run and the motorhome costs money either way.
MOT due and work needed
The quote for the work is close to what the motorhome is worth.
It will not start
A long stand, a flat battery and a job nobody wants to begin.
Health or mobility
Getting in and out is no longer straightforward.
Fixed costs continuing
Tax, insurance and storage on something that is not being used.
None of these make a motorhome harder for us to buy.
